ILLAMASQUA Hydra Veil Review ♡

I recently purchased the Illamasqua Hydra Veil and have been using it almost everyday for the past month!

The hydra veil is a moisturising gel but is still meant to be applied after moisturiser and creates a radiant finish as well as setting a perfect base for foundation - however I was told by the lady at the counter that it does not help make up last longer so if you usually wear a primer you would apply it on top! (I have been using this as well as a primer)

After mixing the hydra veil and leaving it for a few minutes you notice that the Jelly substance has completely resurfaced - which is what it is doing to your skin! It fills in all your pores (without clogging them) and creases creating a blanc canvas for make up!

You can literally feel your skin drinking up the hydra veil as it feels very wet when first applied to the skin but very quickly dries!

I really rate this product and would definitely re-purchase it - however as you only need a tiny amount, I don't think this will be anytime soon!

My Black and Silver Smokey Eye! ♡

Today i thought i would share my black smokey eye look with you!

I've watched many youtube tutorials on how to get the perfect smokey eye but found it easier to just go along with my own! Luckily it turned out okay and I am pretty pleased with my overall look! 

I used my Naked Palette to create this look and it was super easy!

 I would most definitely recommend the Naked Palette as it has a variety of colours that can be used in many different ways - day time looks and night time looks!
It is a great 'investment' and 100% worth the hype!

M.A.C Cranberry Smokey Eye! ♡

I recently purchased the M.A.C eyeshadow - cranberry, after seeing Lauren Curtis using it in a smokey eye tutorial.

I decided to try it out along with using another M.A.C eyeshadow in Woodwinked and my Urban Decay Naked palette.
